I saw that I'm using Ai or Google translate for some really simple sentences that I could easily translate on my own

!I've tried both of them too
Google tools like TRANSLATE are a little stupid

Like having eye contact makes so much difference. Also students ask more questions, they actually try to learn in the classroom.​

Of course. But not having any communication with students and knowing that they don't care that much so they won't learn anything is bothering me. Being in the classroom means you can laugh and also be tough. You can bound(?) with the students. In online classrooms ,on the other hand, there is no discussion. Also the Internet connection is very bad and don't let me start on Shad again
Anyways, I'm not sad about it, maybe even happy that I don't have to drive to another city. But I think about the future and how these students will turn out.​

and funny cartoons? i mean, to integrate multimedia context of the modern world, which we all are so used to, into the online situation?

The problem with using minimum words, is that u cant tell what u actually mean. ur thoughts doesn’t translate​

I think that's partially because of what Roxan pointed out earlier. we use minimum vocabulary, and rely on tools such as translate and LLMs like ChatGPT to fill in our voids. i also have some other thoughts on the subject which i will raise later on, but i think this can be a good ground for discussion, aside from getting together and small talk.

Edit: i will integrate aforementioned tools into the topic's first reply (my reply).​

You see, the education is online with no international internet
I was trying to find a good picture for my slides the other day, all of them had very low quality. I'll try my best but most of good sources are unavailable! Even the websites the books introduce!​

I was completely fine with using Ai and I didn't realise that what I actually did. I was kinda ruining everything. Specially in French even one of my friends told me I should stop using it like that. So I'm trying to use this situation (no Ai no google translate because there is internet haha) in my own favour​

Use AI , watch movies with subtitle and try to write as much as you can

you ever see someone that get's their food from takeaways, every meal? even if someone is good at cooking, by not using their cooking skills they get stuck in a situation that they HAVE some skill, they know that they have used it before well, and they know how to use it now, but can't get it quite right. that's when your skills become "Rusty", and the only way to sharpen your skills my friend, is to use them over and over. I have experience what you expressed myself, and believe you me it was words WAY easier that "Beautiful" ​
