O okay so welcome to the Ali world:+) Bride is definitely easier than Deep End or the other Ali books, but definitely a B2 one, if you ask me.

We all have heard how so many people talk about human race and how we should care about preserving it because we are the most intelligent species that we know of. So if for example AI evolves into a more intelligent “machine” and overpasses humans, then what?

Well personally i don't necessarily think that we'll go extinct. Many theories concerning AI going wild assume that it's going to rebel and fight us, but to me that's debatable. I think that if AI becomes intelligent enough, it would understand that fighting us is useless. Earth is essential to us because it's among the few planets habitable for human race, it wouldn't necessarily be that essential to them. With that knowledge and technology, they could just leave earth and live in space, so taking over earth wouldn't be reasonable in my opinion. Another theory states that AI would seek revenge, which again seems useless to me. I believe with such wisdom, they would realize that revenge is among the least concerning matters.
In the end it would depend on what AI values. There's no reason our values would be the same.
 
I used to be a bookworm
But recently it's almost impossible for me to read even 10 pages without being distracted by something and I know it's not because of the existing situation. I bought some English and Persian books this summer and I only read one of them.
I am dying to buy some new books these days but I'm afraid I wouldn't read them either.
I really don't know what to do and I'm mad at myself for not being like I used to.​

I think in your hypothesis, u just jumped from ai being intelligent as human being to ai being able to travel between galaxies. But everything aside it’s an interesting prediction.

But what i meant was, if some people think we should do what is best for life form, so in that case we should acceptingly let our species to go instinct?
 
I called my gym today. They said the sessions are back again starting April 21st. Companies are reopening as well, tho no production is in order. Do you guys think that things are going back to normal?
