واژگان ترجمه ناپذیر و other wordly

دیدین گاهی اوقات به جای مطالعه ی کتاب های مختلف، میریم سراغ یه دیکشنری و شروع می کنیم به خوندن کلمه ها و معنی هاشون... و بعضی هاشون واقعا زیبا هستن. و از مطالعه ی آزاد دیکشنری لذت می بریم حالا چه انگلیسی باشه چه عربی چه لغت نامه های خودمون که کلمات جدیدی دارن. توی بعضی از زبان ها برای برخی از چیز ها اسامی، صفات و یا افعال جالب و عجیب و غریبی داریم که معانی عمیقی هم دارند و ممکنه در بعضی زبان های دیگه مشابه شون رو اصلا پیدا نکنیم. اگه گاهی سری به مجموعه واژگان other wordly که فکر کنم در تامبلر هست، یا منابع دیگه زده باشید، با انبوهی از کلمات زیبا، جالب و حتی حیرت انگیز مواجه میشید که معنیشون براتون تازه و در عین حال قابل درک و لمسه. میخوام ازتون بخوام اگر به زبان دیگه ای صحبت می کنید ( از زبان های اقوام ایرانی یا حتی اگه زبان های کشور های دیگه رو بلدید) بیاید و کلمات جالب توجهش رو با بقیه به اشتراک بذارید. اصطلاحات زیبای اون زبان رو توضیح بدید و بگید برای هر مفهومی از چه واژگان زیبا و قشنگی استفاده می کنن. گاهی کلمات عجیب و لطیفی بین شون پیدا میشه:)
به عنوان مثال یه سری اصطلاحات و لغاتی رو که جست و جو کردم و دیدم به بعضی چیز ها اطلاق میشه در زبان های مختلفی مثل انگلیسی قدیم، اسپانیایی، لاتین، یونانی و یا ژاپنی و بعضی ها رو هم نمی دونم از چه زبانی و کلمات ویژه ای بودن شاید، و شخصا بیشتر خوشم اومده می نویسم و خواهش می کنم اصطلاحات جالبتون رو دریغ نفرمایید:)
مثلا خوندن این ها که چه بسا ظرافت دارن خالی از لطف نیست:

Galeanthropy (n) the belief that you're a cat

Gumusservi (n) moonlight shining on water

Lacuna (n) a blank space, a missing part

Kawaakari (n) the gleam of last light on a river's surface at dusk, the glow of a river in the darkness

Lethologica (n) when you can not think of the word for something

Phosphenes (n) the colors or "stars" you see when you rub your eyes

Meliorism (n) the belief that the world gets better, the belief that humans can improve the world

Amaranthine (adj) undying, immortal, eternally beautiful, (adj) a deep purple_red

Asterismos (n) " making with stars", a word that gives weight or draws attention to the words that follow, related to asterism, a constellation or a starlike figure of light

Sciamachy (n) a battle against imaginary enemies, fighting your shadow

Halcyon (n) a mythical bird that calmed the waves in winter, (adj) peaceful

Tacenda (n) things better left unsaid, matters to be passed over in silence

Bibliothecary (n) one who collects or maintains books

Dustsceawung (n) " contemplation of the dust" reflection on former civilization and people, and on the knowledge that all things will turn to dust

Natsukashii (adj) of some small things that brings you suddenly .joyously back to fond memories, not with a wistful longing for what's past, but with an appreciation of the good time

Nefelibata(n) lit"cloud Walker" the clouds of their own imagination or dreams

Dormiveglia(n) the space stretches between sleeping and waking

Abditory (n) a place into which you can disappear, a hiding place

Alate (adj) having wings, lifted up in flight

Wabi Sabi (n) the discovery of beauty in imperfection, the acceptance of the cycle of life
